Looks great sir, and Toot has been known to be a good judge of cooks! Be afraid boys, and girls, the bar has been raised it seems...

Hell Fire Grill, that is a nice setup. But your gonna have to show a bit more than a string of pots hanging over a forest fire you know like whats in the pots. _________________ Always remember slow and steady wins the race.

My Hell Fire Brother...I can't believe you took the swingset from the kiddos to hang pots from, build a little fire and cook some Easy Mac.

Dan, you know if we were voting I would have to give you my vote now. You just stole my heart with that meal. Nicely done my Friend.
I gotta ask how much raise in allowance did Toot get for that pic and remark? I hope she lets you cry on her shoulder when ole k.a.m. posts up in a bit. _________________ Always remember slow and steady wins the race.

STOP THE PRESSES!!! The menu has changed!!!
This morning Candis went into the garage to throw away a beer can or 2 and found this critter caught in the trash can! Looks like he had been feasting on the chicken scraps from the DO jambalaya I'll post in a bit!
He was PISSED OFF!!!
D.O. Possum Stew
1 possum, cut-up
1/2-cup oil
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 medium onion, sliced
4 carrots, cut in thick slices
1 small can whole kernel corn
1 can whole tomatoes
1 bell pepper sliced
2 zucchini cut in large pieces
1/2 head cabbage cut in large pieces
8 ounces tomato juice
1/4 cup white vinegar
10 drops Tabasco
Salt and pepper to taste
5 medium potatoes, peeled and sliced
Brown possum in oil in a Dutch oven or heavy skillet. Add all ingredients except potatoes, cabbage, pepper, and zucchini. Cover and simmer for 45 minutes. Add remaining ingredients. Simmer another 15 minutes or until vegetables are tender.
Gonna serve this over whole wheat noodles!

Board is awfully quiet today... Folks bowing out, or cooking?
From what I've seen so far the competition is looking a bit stiff!
Last nights first cook for us here; Dutch Oven Jambalaya
Grandma's dutch oven she got back in 1942
Chick chopping!
Getting it all ready for the chicken and rice to be added in
Time for some yum!
2nd course and dessert coming later... Gotta go skin something!

Charlie, I would hurt myself seriously on that Jambalaya my Friend.
Skip the oil in the D/O to brown the possum believe me they are greasy enough by themselves. _________________ Always remember slow and steady wins the race.
