Can't think of a better reason to throw some ribs on.
Got my new Ikea knife (Go ahead and laugh, this thing is da bomb!)
Rubbed with Jo Jo's Rib Rub
Two hours @ 265/ foil w/butter, brown sugar, and honey
About an hour and a half later, baste with sauce every 15 minutes for an hour.

the ribs look good but I'm more interested in the knife from Ikea. I have 2 (a 10" chef's knife and a 6" utility) and both are razor sharp. And for something like $10-$12 a piece, you can't beat it. Is that the new pairing knife? I saw it and almost bought one. I may order one online. _________________ Jesse Gabbard

It's the Gynnsam paring knife for $6.99:
I also use the Slitbar meat slicer and the Slitbar utility knife. _________________ "Blood makes you a relative. BBQ makes you family!

The ribs look spot on and I would love some of them about now! Doing what the cardio Doc said and eating boneless skinless tonight! You are making me want to cheat!
I'm not a big sticky rib fan, but these look good!

The knife above looks like a GREAT design, hmm, may have to ponder this one a bit in the near future!
Length, width, etc...?

I would definitely recommend these knives. They are all made from premium steel and they hold an edge like nobody's business. Very sharp. Just go to www.ikea.com and search for them. _________________ Jesse Gabbard

Here you go: a direct link to the knives at Ikea. I bought the Gnistra series knives and LOVE them. http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/categories/departments/cooking/15934/ _________________ Jesse Gabbard

The Gynnsam knife is very comfortable to use. It slices thru the ribs like warm butter. It's balanced very nice too. For $7 you can't go wrong. I wish the Slitbar meat carving knife was a little stiffer but the utility knife is great at dicing vegy's and cutting smaller pieces of meat. _________________ "Blood makes you a relative.
