Dont know if there really is any one in particular that had to be filed in the garbage can. But currently the Trader Joes sauce is what has been in the fridge the longest.
I only have 2-3 sauces that are repeat purchases for me, that being said i only go through 2 bottles of sauce a year. _________________ #3 LIAR

Kraft has to be at the bottom, right below Bullseye and KC Masterpiece! _________________ Hasty-Bake Legacy

Any sweet baby rays is Bleh to me. |
I'm not really a fan of any of their stuff, but I know that there are a lot of folks who are. When it's on sale, I'll buy some for the people I'm feeding. |

I tried a bottle of "Beer-B-Q" sauce from Sprecher Brewery. It was like Ketchup with a stout-style beer in it.
I like ketchup, I like Stout beer, but the combination of those 2 items together, getting anywhere near perfectly cooked ribs was horrifying. _________________ Just remember that the toes you may step on during your climb to the top will also be attached to the a$$es you'll be forced to kiss on your way back down! |

Out of the major name brand sauces Kraft gets my vote for the worst followed by SBR and bullseye. For a non major label brand Kurtz hickory sold at Save-A-Lot stores. ..................bleh. So bad it makes me shudder just thinking about it. _________________ "if you cant cook it in bacon grease it ain't worth eating"

It is not bbq sauce, but I simply detest Pickapeppa sauce.....straight from Jamaica.....straight in the trash. _________________ Somewhere in Kenya...a village is missing their idiot. |

I'm sorry to say this because they are one of the most popular bbq sauces in the United States and represent Kansas City and all but last time I bought KC Masterpiece I thought it tasted horrrrible. The funny thing also is last time I bought Sweet baby Rays wasn't bad but wasn't as good as I remember plus too "sweet" for my taste.
What these two have in common? They are packaged in plastic bottles for one. Now this may make no difference at all but that to me is comparing beer in a can (which is sacreligous to me) vs a bottle. It's the same thing with plastic vs glass but I have no proof this is true. _________________ Old Country model: flagstone - vertical offset

KC is my favorite. Not sure how anyone with taste buds could not like KC. It's the only real sauce on earth... |

Open Pit is the worst. When I was a kid (30 years ago), it was the only bbq sauce to be found in Michigan so I grew up on it. Yuck!
When my brother lived in Texas, he always wanted me and the rest of the family to bring Open Pit with us during our visits. He couldn't find Open Pit in Texas. _________________ If the momma isn't happy, then no one is happy.

It is really bizarre how some sauces show up on both the "best" and the "worst" list. I guess that is just indicative of the thing that makes the world of BBQ (and BBQ forums LOL) so much fun. "One man's ceiling is another man's floor" _________________ 22.5" Weber Grill
