| I am making out my X-mas wish list and wondered if anyone could recommend some good heat resistant, bbq gloves with textured fingers to help get a grip when handling meat? Thanks. |

This site previously referred me to: www.boss-safety.com. I was very pleased with the gloves I ordered from them.
Once on the site, just search for "PVC Gloves". _________________ Hasty-Bake Legacy

I won some Weber gloves earlier this year, but they do not have textured fingers, but I am still very please with them. _________________ 1 homemade UDS smoker

I use Black Knight rubber gloves for moving hot meat around on or off the pit, but for pulling pork etc, I use gloves from Harbor Freight, the cotton work gloves, then stretch a food handling glove over the top, the non latex gloves protect from the liquids and the cotton gloves protect pretty good from the heat.
You will find that it still gets a little hot by the third or fourth butt, but a couple of minutes break then works for me to cool the hands back down to working temperature too. _________________ Here's a change Robert.

You really need two kinds of gloves.
High heat silicone gloves for handling hot meat ( they wash easily with soap & hot water.
Welders or leather grilling gloves for handling hot charcoal ,hot charcoal baskets etc. |

I'd make that 4 kinds then.
Welders for the hot fire items.
Thick Black Rubber Hot food on and off the pit.
Cotton for under the Latex free food safety gloves... yup that's the 4 kinds I use! _________________ Here's a change Robert.

Glad you brought that up. I forgot I need a new pair, I have been using many types but the best ones I have ever had came with a Showtime rotisserie oven. They are flexible and keep the hands cool, gonna have to do a search _________________ New Braunfels Offset
