My friend just called me he did some work at one of Willie Nelsons home in Las Vegas and said that Willie had one of the biggest smokers he’s ever seen. He said there was a big J.R. on the smoker so I’m assuming it’s J.R. enterprises http://www.jrenterprises.com/awards.html Does anyone here own a JR? Any reviews? Not that I would ever get rid of my Lang just curious as to what he is using. Man the fact that Willie has a giant Smoker makes him even more cooler than he already is. _________________ 1 Lang 84 Deluxe smoker trailer

| I heard Willy's smoker is a cold smoker with a water filtration system the smoke passes through before it goes into the smoke chamber. Theres probably pictures of one just like it in high times magazine. |

Willie has never 'cold smoked' anything.
I think he usually says "Fire it up!"

What is this pot you speak of? I have seen no reference to a kettle or pot of any kind? A flowerpot perhaps _________________ ~Joe

Back to your question: My neighbor had a JR's 72" smoker on a custom trailer. He no longer competes due to age and infirmities. I was very let down when he sold it. He made the very best ribs I have ever tasted.
JR's is about 100 miles from here and at one time he had a restaurant in Little Rock. Great Q and some amazing good smoked catfish filets. Never owned one but I can attest to the fact that, in the right hands, a JR's Smoker is a first class piece of equipment that will turn out some mighty good eats.
