done for now....a few fine tuning points....1 being the air door turnbuckel that will close air door when adding wood.

2 being a 1" bypass with cap from top of chamber to stack kam has me thinking about where i located the stack.

3 therm ports

Maniac, Very nice work so far my man.Very Happy if your referring to me not being a big fan of lower stacks that is just it I am not but they work just as well as uppers I just do not buy into the whole smoke in the chamber longer theory. In my opinion on your build before I added the bypass I would either move the stack up a bit or down a bit to get it either on top the grate or blow it and not between it. Personally I would move it up so the bottom is flush with the top of your grate if you want to run a lower stack. Smile

Thanks k.a.m. Did 1 and 3 and left 2 alone till i try it. Just brought the trailer inside getting ready to mount the little guy so i can get the first HOT burn under my belt. won't be able to sand blast till after the new year. Leaving pa and going to NC then to FL for a little trip.

got the old lights off and preped for new ones...have a little problem with the stainless angle...looks like i got some steel grinding on it now it has rust freckels Embarassed

Thanks trailerbuilder.....will be a little while till i get it loaded up....we are going away for a few weeks ....then maybe i'll get to burn her and see how she cooks.....still have to get the rust marks off the stainless part of the trailer.....was not paying attention and let grinding sparks land on the angle.....

we are back from the trip.....time to get the lights wired. Have to check pa law....if the trailer has something permanent on it i don't think i need plates...

Tried to sandblast her on thurs. but air nozzel keeped freezing up Crying or Very sad Snow yesterday.....will try on tues. Anybody see a prob with putting a small charcoal fire in her after blasting to bring the steel up to a good temp before i bring inside to paint....speed the warm up alittle Question Will pull fire before backing it in the garage..

GF Thanks again.....it ran pretty good.....still have to find her sweet spot....was windy and 34 outside. I guess i did ok....pulled pork was very tasty...rib didn't impress me. I could not get them to pull and show bones. But i can't cook for s**t. Embarassed But for the first one i'm happy. Very Happy Will try to figure what i need to do to get better results....as they say...it's a learning curve.
