Hello Smoke Ring

Missed yuz guyz

Nice category welding great idea k.a.m.

The boyz were at it again, a buddy of mine, and the welding instructors wanted a large ............check that............. very large fire pit.
He has a bunch of acres and wanted us to make a pit he could cook on.
Told us what he wanted and one student took it on as a project.
He just finished it up this week. The young man did a bang up job I think.
I told the young man I would post his build on the Ring that I am always talking about. He was excited, would like to hear what the Ringers have to say about the build. Our profeesional welding committee has been on the administration to update our machines so that the students who graduate will have a heads up on the field. They have finally answered our prayers as you can see by the pictures. I am standing in the pit to give you an idea how big it is.

A big hello to CHUCK

Thanks for your time
BOOMER

Very nice pit and some real nice machines. My Idealarc has three knobs and they confuse me, I can't imagine using one of those Millers. Laughing

killswitch505

Thank-you for the kind words, the young man will appreciate it.
I was a boy scout and I think we could have had a great time with that
Fire-Ring, heck probably could have done some pillow sized marshmallows'
on that fire.

Jonnyrod

Thanks, Miller sent a rep in to demonstrate and teach us about
the welders heck he was using words and terms that were way over
my head. I wrote allot down so I wouldn't forget.
We had a problem switching over to stick the other day. I read where
6 switches had to be turned on and we only had 5 on. Like you said
way too many switches and info for me. I like one switch, the off and on
switch. Easy Peasy Japonese

Thanks guys

k.a.m.

Thank you k.a.m. You and Chucky Boy have inspired allot of
students in Shamokin Pa, without really knowing it.
It was a pleasure in my life to meet you and chuck. You
have helped me allot since I have joined the ring with your
knowledge and expertise. I used to wonder what would have'
happened if us three would have lived closer to one another.
I think God was a little worried too, that is why he put us in the
Southeast Texas, Stilwell, Shamokin Triangle.

But sometimes I still wonder........what would've been built

Thank you again my friend.
Tell the nice lady that puts
some of the best grub to
come out of SE Texas
Boomer sends his love.

Chuck

Thanks for the kind words. I am sure that the young man
will be happy to hear from you and k.a.m.. They have followed
your builds the last couple of years. Chuck you have been there
for me the whole Erma Lou build, you have flown to Shamokin
several times to help this big dummy with different projects.
Don't really know how to thank a man for all you have done.
Even playing psychiatrist sometimes. I will throw something
back at you that you told me a long time ago.

You have gone this same road my brother, you talk about
(I wish you lived closer) the milk man had a big route.

Thank-You CHUCK

Super job on the pit! I've see antique radiator covers with far less detail, Some fine craftsmanship showing there! Cool

Big Ron

Thanks my friend. I used your rub all summer and everyone I cooked
for loved it. Be it chicken or pork. Thanks for the kind words
for the student that built the fire pitt.

patruns

Thank you sir. The young man built that in two weeks. Being he only
has about 2 hours to work on it a day, that ain't too bad

Thanks guys
