Was planning on making 24 ABT's today to take to my buddy's house. We were gonna make a night of playing some old school NES games and stuff and munching on some poppers. That ended up getting canceled because he had something come up
I already had the ABT's prepped, so now those go into the fire for the rest of the weekend. Anyhow, this is a weekend of firsts for me. I'm gonna be doing my first fatty, first pulled pork, and first pot roast. I've got good plans for the pulled meats, and I am excited as all get out for the fatty!
I think I'm gonna do the ABT's on the Weber charcoal. I saw something somewhere on how to keep the temps down on that by just running a ring of coals around the edge like a snake or something. Should work fine for the ABT's since they are versatile on the cook anyhow.

I've used a foil pan on the charcoal grate...coals all to 1 side, abt's and fatties over the pan, vent over the pan side...works well on the weber for slow cooks. Minion start or light a couple lumps with a propane torch... _________________ Weber 22" Kettle
