I have looked at a few of these classes.. I think they could be a handy tool, the thing that has prevented me from taking one is the cost. I dont compete, so the cost savings there doesnt really apply. The wealth of information that i have gained here over the years has been awesome. If you look for the small tips that the pros give out and apply it to your own cooking it will make your own cooking and methods improve by leaps and bounds.

I kinda figured classes like Myron's where geared toward competition style cooking. Do you or anyone else know of classes geared toward the backyard guy looking toward catering? |

Cookshack does one that might fit what your looking for.
Give them a call. I think maybe they do it twice a year?
