After 10 or so tears of use I am overhaulin' my vertical smoker.Its an aluminium food storage cart a baker uses to store dough to rise.It will have 2 cast iron pipe burners for heat assist,with the new camo paint job I think it needs a set of mud tires.Might have to sneak up to Northern.Paint used was all high temp,black grill paint,Cummins and Detroit engine paint. |

Here is the inside.Currently I use 5 expanded steel racks for cooking and a heavier gauge 1 with a 2"lip on it for wood/coals.The 2 pipe burners will be low pressure,welded to a frame bolted thru the bottom with a manifold outside the cooker.I use it mostly for fish{several hundred # a winter]but known to throw anything on it. |
