|
|
| I recently went to a place called Texas Pride, just outside of San Antonio. Every kind of meat I had there was absolutely amazing. (Briskit, ribs, sausage) I have been searching the internet to see if there was a recipe for thier baby back ribs, but much like I expected, there wasn't. Not even anything close. If I could get my hands on that recipe I would eat ribs every night of my life. It would be like having a water fountain that dispenses beer in my living room. Anyway, does anybody have a good recipe (Texas Style) for cooking baby backs? |

We know how to cook ribs too. That being said I don't know that I can help WSMFanatic.
The words TX style baby back ribs don't sound right to me. Most places I know do spares. Dry rub and smoke. Use lots of Black pepper. Oak or mesquite for the wood. _________________ 22.5 Weber Kettle

The website provides only a couple of details regarding the way they prepare and cook them. I was simply looking to see if anybody knew the recipe or anyting close. Apparently they use only Mesquite wood while cooking. And baby backs are the only ribs available which I thought to be odd. But the place was jam packed and was also featured on that diners and dives show on food network.
Thanks taklebox for the recipe. I saw that one as well. I may give it a try. I'm not sure how I feel about leaving the baby backs submerged in the mop overnight. |

You were already in a good spot...FoodTV has a buttload of recipes....or just "google" it.....but it seems
"Texas" style anything would be cooked using Pecan,Mesquite,or peach.
Like the guy says....BWTFDIK _________________ Brinkman Elect."Bullet" |
