very confused on previous suggestions for recommended smoking temp and ideal meat temp for a whole chicken also trying to guess estimated total time
please any help would be great
so far
170 for internal for chicken?
? hours for toal cooking
at ? what smoking temperature?

I do chicken at much higher temperature than four-footed meats, usually between 325 and 350°F. Roughly 20 minutes per pound at that temperature, until the thigh reads around 160-165°F. 15 minutes rest time tented with foil before carving...
