Very nice looking, Mrs K.A.M. I have yet to master the art of grilling wings over charcoal. I usually either straight-up fry them, or I'll smoke them, then finish them off on my propane grill (blasphemy I know).
Any pointers ya wanna part with? |

Great job, the combo of spice and sauce is 'it"!
I do a lot of wings on the grill for parties, and, as a time-saving deal, I will usually par-boil the wings for about 10 minutes, cuts cooking time considerably. That may be treasonous to some, but hey, I've never had a complaint OR any leftover wings either! |

wingpirate, Thanks, I use indirect heat on the Weber Kettle, I put some charcoal on one side of the Kettle, add a lite chimney of charcoal and some wood chunks. Then when it's smoking I put the wings opposite of the fire, bone down for 30 minutes, flip for 15 minutes, sauce, flip, sauce, cook for another 15 minutes, and done
Beertooth, Thanks, Yes, me too. I love wings
Uncle Alvah, Thanks, and Thanks for the idea, I'll keep that in mind
trevthebear, Thanks, you see that's what happened to me. I saw so many delicious wings I had to go shopping _________________ Got Fire?

Mrs K
After all the cooks you did and all the adjectives
I have used over the years to describe your cooking
I have come to an impass, until Mr Webster thinks
up some words in the dictionary.
I do know this though, you and Kevin are the best

I'm trying to figure out a way to explain this wing thing without being disrespectful. Your wings look delicious, no doubt ! But to me, wings done on the smoker are basically . . . a form of BBQ chicken. A true chicken wing is deep fried, crispy and saucy at the same time. _________________ Strive for Excellence not Perfection !!

Big G, Thanks, the wing is my favorite part of the chicken, sometimes I BBQ them and sometimes I fry them, I've never eaten a true Buffalo Wing from New York, but one day I hope to _________________ Got Fire?
