Something is wrong here. Perhaps I missed it but I read through the post and not one mention of the two greatest blues musicians of all time.
Albert King and Bobby"Blue" Bland.
I'll Play The Blues For You and That's What The Blues Is All About from King are some of the most memorable blues songs ever recorded!
"I see the man coming with his tools. I guess he come to cut off my water. You know they got my gas yesterday and there coming right back for the lights tomorrow!"
And Bobby is well *snort* Bluuuuuuuuueeeeeeeeee!
If your collection doesn't include these two then it's not really a blues collection.
Check it out. _________________ Part of the secret of success in life is to eat what you like and let the food fight it out inside.

Set your DVR for TNT's Memphis Beat. Some real great music in the soundtracks. Check this short one:

Buddy Guy and Junior Wells Alone and Acoustic is an album I reach for when the mood fits. If you are into new age blues/rock the Black Keys are killer. I'm not so much into their new stuff but Thickfreakness is a great listen.
BTW, off this topic but are you any way associated with Five Star Fabricating? _________________ In the shadows of Lambeau |
