Did my first pork butts this weekend. They turned out great. took them off at 200 and they where so tender i could hardly take them off. And they tasted great.
Got a Maverick ET-73 thermometer. It said it would go about 100 feet. But it would stop updating at around 25. Anyone have any clues why. But other then that worked good.
Thanks to the forum I have gotten alot of tips on making my Brisket and pork butts turn out great. And everyone has loved them. Looking forward to doing ribs in a couple of weeks. Thanks agian. |

OK scoutman, just a couple things...(but don't take this to heart, I've had a few)
1)No pics, didn't happen
B)Don't bring up the ET-73. Unless you wanna argue, or just watch a bunch of grown men get in a pi$$ing match
3)Post stuff like this in the General Forum, it will get more traffic
D)Congrats on the first butt...I remember mine (wait, wrong butt )
D)Oh...Welcome to the Ring. C'mon in, have fun, don't take anything too seriously, and post pics...we love pron _________________ ~Joe
