What a gem!!!!! Had their Burnt Ends absolutely fabulous.....For those that don't know this joint is home to 2 awesome scenes from one the the 80's biggest movies.....Top Gun. The first scene where Goose's family & Maverick are singing Great Balls of Fire at the piano.

The second scene is with the jukebox where Maverick comes back into town, and "You've Lost That Lovin' Feelin'" starst to play.....on June 26, 2pm, an out of control pit fire overcame the BBQ - but fortunately everyone evacuated safely and no one was injured......sadly the jukebox was lost. The piano suffered a little smoke, but it has been said "THAT IT STILL PLAYS OUT OF TUNE, LIKE IT ALWAYS HAS!!!!!"

They must have improved...in the early 90s their BBQ was awful! Good for them!

I heard they had reopened but when I lived there it was the worst BBQ I had ever eaten. Going to take a lot of rave posts to get me to try it again!

I must have caught 'em on a good night!!! I know one visit is very hard to base an opinion on one visit, but compared to other burnt ends I've had KC BBQ's were pretty darn good! And the atmosphere is straight up BBQ & Beer....
