Hey everyone! My name is Jamie and I'm a newbie from Indianapolis. I've been BBQing and Smoking for about 5 years now and I haven't looked back to try anything different! Anything besides smoking, of course.

If it's an animal that can be smoked, I have more than likely cooked it. However, my favorite "smoking" animals are salmon and well, most pork products.

Anyway, it's really great to be here. I hope to meet you all soon! Very Happy

Jamie! Welcome from a fellow Hoosier, up the road from you in Fort Wayne! I had a little Brinkmann smoker for years that I smoked poultry in, but just discovered last year how good it is to smoke practically everything. Famous Dave's in Indy turned me on to smoked foods last year. Now that I'm smokin my own, I don't know if we'll enjoy Famous Daves as much. Seems like it all depends on who's tending the smoker. If you could give us a line on some of your favorite BBQ places in Indy, we'll sure give em a try. I have to go back dowqn there every now and then to get my eyes examined(post-op).
