This is a 50 year old whiskey barrel (1" oak) that I stripped down and refurbished to make a smoker. I am not completely done, but getting closer. I was able to put in (2) 22" cooking grates to fit 8 racks of ribs or 12 pork butts.

Nice work. Those whiskey barrel smokers are so cool and look so great sitting on a patio. _________________ D. Tillery

Very cool!!! Antique barrel smoker.
Takin notes...
I`m going to have to get a barrel and make me one. She`s a gasser huh? I made a cake pan burner similar to the one that gassmoker.com makes. When you get a chance to fire it up let us know how well it works i may use my burner for a Gasser UDS also. |

| I will do. You could make this electric, charcoal or gas. I elected gas, just beacuse it is quicker and I like the control and I have expereience with it. |
