Well I'm guessing, but probably around 2 or 3 in the afternoon. Unfortunately I will not be there as the baby will have been born that morning. My father-in-law, however, will be there setting up and may have his son helping him. Be sure to drop by and say hello! I know I should be happy, but I really wanted to be at this one..oh well.
Good luck!!! _________________ I'd rather go hunting with Dick Cheney than driving with Ted Kennedy! |

Same thing happened to me 6 months ago. We entered the comp at BBQ galore, that Friday morning the wife went into labor. My dad did the comp but I got to sneak down there at 1am just to check up on him, then went back down at 11am before turn in time. Man that was a ruff weekend. _________________ Alex

Is the public going to get to be there on Friday evening?....I may only get to be there later on after work on Friday( 6-6:30pm) or later on in the evening on Saturday.
Looks like the festivites are actually at the Dairy Barn instead of the Greenway park. or so says the website http://www.leroysprings.com/Greenway.html _________________ Electricity can be dangerous. Saturday it goes from 11am till 3pm for the public.
You are more than welcome to come up on Friday and hang out. We will be there early in the afternoon to set up and will be cooking some food for Friday night, maybe some ABT's as well.
Ohhh, and Beer! _________________ Alex

Things are looking better for me to be able to be there on Saturday....but....
Dont look for me till you see me coming, as my grandfather used to say )
Ill look for the youngish guy with the brand new trailer smoker and elevator music wafting around _________________ Electricity can be dangerous. My nephew tried to stick a penny into a plug. Yep things went great. We were set up right beside Ranucci and had some great food Friday night. The competition went ok. We wish we could have done better, but lately the judges have liked other better than ours. Oh well! The event itself was a resounding success and had at least twice as many people as the inaugural event. Hope to see you there next year! _________________ I'd rather go hunting with Dick Cheney than driving with Ted Kennedy! |
