|
|
We are very pleased to announce our new sponsor, The Pitmaker in Houston, TX. George Shore and Victor Howard are building some of the coolest, and best looking outdoor cooking equipment available anywhere. We have been drooling over their pits and trailers for some time. They are building us a custom trailer with their BBQ Vault smoker mounted on it. The BBQ Vault is a vertical insulated smoker with a water pan in the bottom of the cooking chamber. It is built like a vault from 1/8" steel construction. The interior walls are all stainless steel. All exterior seams are welded to prevent moisture from getting into the insulation and causing rust. It weighs in at a whopping 950 pounds.
Here are a few pictures of some of their pits. You can see a lot more on The Pitmaker website.

Yeh, they were having some problems with the website for a few days. Most of the pages with the details were down.

I have had the pleasure of cooking on these pits as well. Top notch for sure. I watched the Vault go for at least 8 hours on only a few pounds of charcoal and a few sticks of wood. I have been after Victor, George, and Julio to sell my rubs also They are good people and build an excellent product. My hat is off to them and the job they do and I encourage all of you to check out their products. _________________ Big Ron

Their airbrush artist is AMAZING. I wish I would of taken pics of the airbrushed Vaults I saw this weekend when picking up ours. We may have to go back for some airbrushing ourselves.
Congrats on the new smoker, your going to love it. Victor, George, and Julio are great to work with, and their craftsmanship is second to none that I have seen. _________________ Pitmaker Vault

Garry,
Welcome to the club. I have the Magnum Sniper and have been so impressed with everything about the pit. My buddies all drool when they come over and the smoke is rolling out of the stack. That logo is going to look sweet on the back of the pit. Looking forward to the pics. |

| These are great looking, I've seen one in action. I want one so bad I can't stand it! I love my offset but man do I want the vault! The construction is great and they do hold the heat very well and are very efficient on fuel. |
