Good to hear you say this, not because I like to see a grand old lady of BBQ on the skids. I stopped at the one in Tuscaloosa one Sunday last fall about 1:30ish. Place was packed, but the food was virtually inedible. Ribs were beyond tough. Banana pudding was good, but the main event failed. I am glad to see someone else had similar experience...I would hate to think that I was that far off the mark. _________________ 22.5" Weber Grill

| I really hate to see a super place go like that. I moved away several years ago but that used to be my go-to Q house. |

I live in Huntsville and have eaten there 1 or 2 times, when it first opened Now I just laugh when I ride by It's amazing that the place is still open....it SUCKS
I was at the original in Tuscaloosa back in December and it wasn't worth bragging about either _________________ WHY DO I HAVE TO PRESS 1 FOR ENGLISH ?? |

None of them have been worth a damn since Big John died. I had some about six months ago in Tuscaloosa and it wasn't even mediocre.
My mom swears I've spoiled them on good BBQ, but if that's all they have to compare it to, I might not be as flattered as I thought. |
