If you live within 200 miles of Denver, you should WALK to Boney's on Champa Street.
I'm here at a convention and found this place by accident. They had a kiosk set up on 16th Street, with a sign that said they had a store, so we walked over to the store and ordered dinner.
I got the Combo Platter....1/4 pound of pulled pork, 2 ribs, 2 slices of brisket, and a hot link. I got collards, beans, and slaw as my sides, with cornbread and a huge glass of fresh squeezed lemonade to wash it all down. The smoke flavor was spot on....the meat was as tender and juicy as could be, the house sauce was sweet but not overpowering. Great bark and coloring on all the meat. The service was great, portions were huge.
Really didnt expect to find such good Q in Denver, but I am really glad I did! _________________ Char-Griller Trio w/low budget mods |
