We are having a party at our house. 16 adults and 30 kids all under the age of 11 (wow). So I am doing 10 racks of baby backs for the adults and sausage for the kids. Wish me luck with all those kids. _________________ Insanity is doing the same thing over and over, and expecting different results.

I'll be 'QUEing up some rib tips and whole chickens with sides of Southwestern Coleslaw and a pot of my Killer Chili. My son will do the grilling: hot dogs, hamburgers and corn on the cob.
update: change of plans...got a couple of last minute catering gigs. Gotta cook what the customers want. I'll also have a little extra last minute cash, so maybe I'll switch to T-bones for us! _________________ Mister Bob, Pitmaster

I'm doing 80 butts Friday night. Probably throw some yard birds on while they are smoking. I plan on a nice fatty for everyone Saturday morning. Monday will be ribs for the fam. |

I will be doing my first brisket starting on Saturday. While it is sitting wrapped in the cooler I will be doing a fattie and some ABT's.
What temperature setting should I put on the RediCheck thermometer? _________________ Retired and Traveling in our Motorhome |

Looks like 8 racks of spares, 3 whole chickens, some sausage, and pit beans. Everything else is B.Y.O.S (Bring your own sides!)

Wish I was, but I'm workin this weekend and the holiday. That holiday pay will be going to good use though, like a new thermometer and maybe an ABT holder. Hope everyone has a good time for me. |

Ribs, a butt and a first attempt at ABTs. Trying all peach wood this time as well after an initial start with coals. _________________ Pat

Ribs, Brisket, Pork Butt, Whole chickens, and some turkey breast.
I didnt think I would get a lot of orders since most people like to 'BBQ Grill' on the 4th themselves. But it turned out a decent cook.
Got family in town, pretty excited about it. _________________ Backwoods Competitor

So far, I am planning on about 20# of shoulder, and 2 racks of spares. I am tossing around the idea of trying some ABTs or a fattie. Maybe both!
Also, gonna try makin some cheesy creamed corn. |

We're going to be doing a brisket, beef hot links, Texas-style chili beans, potato salad, Texas toast, and fresh made iced tea. Swinging by the butcher here in about an hour to pick up the meats.
Still not sure how I'm going to do the hot links. I've honestly never cooked fresh, homemade sausages before, and was originally thinking I would just cook them on the grill, but I think the temps for the brisket should be fine for cooking the hot links as well. _________________ ~ Jeff S. |

Well, i was suppose to have 12 people over on Sunday so i bought 3 racks of spares, 2 butts, enough for 60 abts and a couple blackberry cobblers.
Now it turns out half the fam can't show so i guess the six of us have alot of pig to eat! |
