Good Luck!

I'm going to be making 2 more pork shoulders, same as I did last weekend. One to eat that day, and one to go in the freezer. We have a birthday party the following Saturday at 11:00 am, so we are making everything ahead of time.

I might also throw a couple of links or wings on, since I've got everything going.

Heading up to the nort woods of Wisco to relax at the cabin. I've got about 12 people to feed for a couple lunches. I'm thinking of doing 3-4 butts. Looking for a good price at the moment.

Stopping by Sam's Wednesday to get whatever looks good. Thinking of doing a tri-tip and maybe a whole chicken for some smoked chicken salad.

I'm with you. I usually prefer something a little heavier but I am having quite a few people over so I kind of have to cater to everyone else.

Me, the boys, and my dad will be cooking ABTs, beef tenderloin, beef ribs, brisket, and fried fish out in East Texas.

As sides we'll have corn on the cob cooked on the smoker, fresh blackeye peas from the garden, and some fried taters from Brookshire's! Shocked The potatoes haven't finished growing yet here...

For dessert, we'll have peach cobbler made in a DO the old fashioned way, coals under and on top!

All of the above will be washed down with some great iced tea and a couple of home brews.

Charlie

No BBQing for me this weekend Crying or Very sad Going camping with the family and friends. We usually have simple fare, burgers, brats, fish, breakfast stuffs. All cooked over the open fire. Plenty of John Daniel's whisky and PBR's to wash it all down. Yes, I said all Shocked You can't drink all day if you don't start in the morning. Cool Next big BBQ weekend is July 10th. A few of my friends challenged me to a throwdown. Wink I got called out by a guy that boils his ribs, throws them on a grill for 20 minutes, then in the crockpot for 2 hrs. Shocked Says they are better than Applebee's Rolling Eyes Laughing

Dino Bone Pastrami is the showcase meat.

Usual suspects like Pork Ribs & ABT's will be in the picture as well.
