Been spending the last two weeks in our holiday house in Turkey. Grillin' n Swimmin' mostly.

Igniting the charcoal on the terrace.

Been buying quite a few rib steaks over here.

Got only a small little grill over here, but hey, it works just fine.

The peppers and tomatoes tastes just divine over here. Buying them from the local farmers market.

Beer ain't bad either Smile

Köfte must me my absolute favorite here, very tasty and spicy little burgers.

Making them myself or buying ready made from the butcher.

Grilled ribs steaks the other night as well.

Nuthin' bets a proper 1lbs steak!

Otherwise just sitting on the roof terrace chillin'

Watching the sunset

http://www.suomalaiset.de/kuveja/Bodrum2010/bodrum28.jpg

And the beautiful sunrise, if I manage to wake up early enough. Sterno Jr. has helped with that a bit though... Smile

http://www.suomalaiset.de/kuveja/Bodrum2010/bodrum19.jpg

But most time you see me over here is like this Smile

Last holiday week started now, so better go quick back to the sea!

It's oregano. Bought it from the local farmers market, dirt chip in big bunches.

Thanks Canadian Bacon!

Sorry, I've been hibernating the winter months (and moving to a new house), so haven't been looking at all at the BBQ forums. But it's spring time and I'm back!

I use mostly a small compact Leica D-LUX 4 (identical to Panasonic LX-3). Occasionally I dig out my old Canon 20D DSLR, but not too often. More important than the camera is the post processing. Adjusting the levels, contrast, sharpness, vibrance etc in Photoshop or any other photo editing software, is really the key thing what makes the picture "pop".

Cheers,
Sterno

I thought for sure that you were using a high end Digital SLR,it is amazing how you can bring those photos to life like that, the color and sharpness is amazing in some of those shots.

Thanks CB. I do shoot always in manual or aperture priority mode. That does help with getting the light as I want, but as I said, the post processing does usually really make the picture.

Cheers,
Sterno
