Mosk likely, unless you're just completely un-gifted in the area of barbecue, yours is ALWAYS going to be better than theirs. And if you read more in this website, even if you are un-gifted, you can learn how to do it right, and do it a lot better than they can, no matter where you go. As for south Florida, I dunno. I haven't been that far south in about 8 years. BBQ Man could help you out. He's from Tampa/St. Pete area I think. Goo luck!! _________________ "Never trust a skinny cook."

We have a few good joints in my area, but we are more Central/West Florida.
Dunno about the South Florida area..........................
If you are traveling in the area (mine) Hungry Harry's in North Tampa area is good.
The Angry Pepper (see review somewhere in this section) does a good job in Madeira Beach.
Good food has been known to come out of my backyard on occasion. _________________ BBQMAN

Not at this time Brian.
I'm a caterer that occasionally vends, as opposed to a vendor that caters!
Funny that- a guy with the Pathers organization wanted us to vend at 4th of July at the Bank Atlantic centre in Sunrise.
A bit out of my area, and bit out of what we normally due in the summer.
Not a good sign if they are looking for vendors in my area................ _________________ BBQMAN

I will be in the Kissimmee/Orlando area the week of July 17th. Where can a guy get some decent Q? I don't mind driving a bit if it's good. As long as I get the wife some good seafood I am free to hunt down some Q. _________________ Sam Diggity's BBQ

| Not sure which side of the state you're on, but if you're closer to the east coast, I used to enjoy a couple of places in Ft. Lauderdale. Georgia Pig, on the south side of town not far from the airport, serves up a pretty nice PP sammie. There's another joint on Federal, south of downtown Ft. L. called Tom Jenkins. Very respectible ribs. Both places smoke their meat in brick pits. Get to Jenkins early because the lines can be pretty long. |
