I've been a lurker on here for a couple of years now. I owe just about everything I've learned smoking wise to this forum.

For Christmas, my wife got me a WSM. Over the last 6 months, I've learned what makes it tick. Today, I cooked for 40 people for a wedding reception. Huge success!! I couldn't be happier with the way things turned out.

Started the brisket at 11:30 last night. Checked it at 2:30 (smoker at 229), checked again at 5:00 (smoker at 192). Added fuel and had the brisket ready to put in the cooler at around 2:00. Added the chicken around 11:30. Put the moink balls and the ABT's on when I took the brisket off. My neighbor, who I was cooking for, told me that just about everyone at the reception asked what name I catered under and if I had a business card!!

Anyway, here are some pics. And, thanks to everyone who regularly posts and teaches on here. I've learned sooooo much!!

sooner74012, food looks great, but a dozen and a half ABT's for 40 people, remind me not to have you cater my parties Laughing Wink . Everything turned out awesome. I myself have to cook for 40+ this father's day. 40+ HUNGRY BBQ fanatics. 120 ABT's Shocked , 3 shoulders, 12 racks of spares, 5 dozen moinks...whew

sooner74012 - Man I've been married for almost 44 years, but I would almost be willing to do it again for a feed like that. Super looking food. I see a bigger pit in your future. Tom

My first wife was from( and I returned her to) Broken Arrow - I believe your ABTs look spicier than she was. Congrats on the success, and may you never meet my ex.
