Sorry to hear Pat but sounds like you are on it and have rectified the problem.

If you have never tried Kristoff before give them a try. The Kristoff GC is my current go-to cigar. Kristoff link below.

Just don't rush them back in a hurry,to much moisture to fast will mess them up,they will come back ...slow and steady....Im always on top of my humidor...got a lot of $$$ invested in cigars....I enjoy one everyday...so its easy to monitor my box.

Thanks for the info Dan. Perhaps when I am back up to speed I'll give one a try.

Went to my LCS (Local Cigar Store) last night just to hang out and enjoy a nice cigar and good conversation.

There were a whole bunch of Christmas shoppers coming in looking for cigars for their husband/Dad/friend. It's always the same its comical they walk in saying "I need a cigar." Then when asked what kind of cigar or what does the person they are buying for like in a cigar...you get that confused dog look. It happens every day in the cigar shop just multiplied over the holidays. Funny.

After all the shoppers left they were only four of us regulars as most are traveling for Christmas.

One of my friends bought everyone a Camacho Liberty 2011 last night. It is a fine smoke enjoyed it a lot. Nice draw, great flavor and even burn.

Then the owner gave us a wrapped present....a Camacho Room 101 cigar cutter. Cool, kinda looks like the old brass knuckles I use to have. Ha!

Hung out for three hours talking, smoking, and laughing. It was a good night.

Awesome cutter Dan!

My smokes are slowly coming back. New hygrometer is hovering on 61. I considered placing a dish of distilled water in the box to speed things up but I think I will just take it slow and keep checking the glycol for any needed top off. Anyone have better suggestions?

Just do what your doing patruns....placing a dish of distilled water could rush things causing all your cigars to split.Just like bbq..you have to go low and slow. Laughing

Trying something different....a friend gave me a cigar the other day at work... I really enjoyed it....Brick House Robusto 5x54...medium bodied cigar, great draw, even burn and a bit of a fruity flavor half way through.I ordered myself a box for the humidor. Very Happy They have a good rating, make for a great everyday smoke that won't break the bank.

Anyone have any input on the perdomo esv 2002? I can get the torpedo for around $5 each which seems like a good deal. Picked one up for Sundays packer game. Might be heading back for more.

The nice Bolivar is my Birthday smoke in a couple weeks. Very Happy Those Casa Magna...Oscuro Robustos are a magnificent smoke.......at least I think so. Very Happy Also have a couple Cigar Studio house cigars,a few Macanudo Robustos and a CAO LX2.

Nice Dan...but I stay as far away from Scotch as I can. Very Happy Im a simple guy....If I have to smoke outside in the cold it's just black coffee and a couple shots of dark rum dumped inside.Come summer time when its hot,I do like good Vodka on the rocks with my cigar, and my go to Vodka would be this......

Cheers Very Happy

Depends on my mood.... and what I still have available. Smile

First choice is usually Grand Marnier, 2nd is Cointreau. I also like Barenjager though that is a little sweet. Then there are the home made Serbian brandies but that usually leads to trouble. Razz

CB: This is not a bad one considering the low price if you like vodka....
