Prize for best early summer grill ideas and recipes

I'm interested in figuring out the best grill ideas and recipes for seasonal early summer grilling. i.e. the eggplants and tomatoes aren't out yet, but the grills certainly are.

So I'm hosting a "contest" where people post dish ideas or recipes. We've already gotten a lot of awesome ones, from Hawaiian-style chicken to pesto shrimp to grilled banana splits. The prize - donated by my author-friend Deb Krasner - is a signed copy of the James Beard award-winning cookbook "The Flavors of Olive Oil", which I'm just going to give randomly to one of the posters. We're gonna collect ideas all week and announce a winner Monday.

If you're willing to change the prize to a case of ribs or steaks you might get a taker or two, I don't think anyone here really wants Deb Krasner's autograph.
