i have a load of oal flooring cut offs can i use them for smoking/bbq
they have no stain or anything on then |

Even without stain, it could still be treated lumber. Personally, better safe than sorry. It is tempting though. _________________ Scooter

| If there is absolutely nothing foreign on them you can use them. Any stain, poly or if they are not solid but veneer stay away. |

jatr24, I use scraps of red oak moulding trim all the time. In fact, I think it's the only oak I use As long as there is no stain, varnish, or other finishes on it, I would say you're good to go. _________________ ~Joe
