By the time I have them doctored up I figure on 25 per can and I have never run out yet.

If you read the back of a #10 can, it says 26 servings. Doctored up i can get 30 all day.

I agree, beans are so easy to male and much cheaper than buying the manufactured stuff why not make it from scratch? I am a huge lover of chili on anything but when I ask if homemade or not almost 90% of the time people tellme it's out of a can. Folks can tell the difference.
