At my local Lowe's (Central PA) they're giving a free bottle of Stubb's BBQ Sauce with each purchase of Stubb's Charcoal. I use the charcoal and figured WTH, it's a free sauce so I grabbed one when I got 2 bags of charcoal yesterday.

I'm glad it was free, cuz I wouldn't pay for it. (I make my own sauce, so I wouldn't pay for any sauce) I wasn't too impressed with it.

Anyone else try it? Like it, hate it?

There isn't much of a selection of sauce where I'm at but stores do carry Stubbs sauce. Thanks for the heads up...I've been tempted to try a bottle but I think I'll just stick with making my own. Very Happy

When not vending and cooking at home i like a different sauce every time. I get bored with the same ole stuff all the time. So to answer the question, yes i like stubbs on occasion, there are only a few sauces i dont like. Wink Very Happy

I like Stubbs original. It's like the sauce I grew up on, even though we never used much of it.

I love Stubbs, especially the mesquite flavor. Like the rub as well. Just saw the charcoal at Lowes for the first time the other day. Picked up some of the Stubbs wood chips, but have not tried them yet. Supposed to be a blend of Oak, hickory and apple. We'll see.

I grabbed 2 bottles and bags myself. I like mixing it with Sweet Baby Rays, a little Jack Daniels, honey and some apple juice. Yummy!

If someone were to give me a bag of mixed hardwoods - especially mixed with hickory or mesquite - I'd thank them very much, and then find someone else to give it to...

Cheers

I have tried two different stubbs sauces and did not care for either of them too much, but I have had much worse for sure
