Ole hickory BBQ - Athens,AL

This place is located on Hwy 72 between Florence and Athens. It's a small place but has lot's of character. I had the BBQ plate which was really good - pulled pork, BBQ beans,slaw and a piece of bread. I also had a Sundrop pulled out of the iced down water trough. Man , that was a hard combo to beat with the Sundrop.
I've been there 3 times and only had the pulled pork plate - haven't tried the ribs yet. I think they are open Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

If anyone goes that route it was worth a stop!
