| I have been looking at a Meadow Creek Cooker. Does anyone on this board cook on a Meadow Creek Product? What I am looking at is a PR (Pig Roaster) model 60 with a charcoal/wood pull out drawer. I would appreciate any feedback on the Meadow Creek Products. |

You probably have these photos, but just in case: http://www.smokymtbarbecue.com/barbeque-photos/bbq-cookers/pr60-pig-roaster.php
If no one else chimes in, contact Smokinit. I know he uses one and here are the photos to prove it.

Hey Smokinit,
Does that cooker make the pig's skin crisp and edible? Cracklins? Or more like the shoe leather that the smokers produce.
I have to also ask what the 'bling' is that beautiful pig is wearing around it's neck. _________________ Tender - Juicy - Smoky - Goodness

Smokinit,
How does you PR60 do on other things such as butts and ribs? Do you get good even heat? I don't plan to use mine for whole hogs if I buy one. I just need a good portable smoker that I can use on everything. |

Oil the skin up good and run it hot at the end and you will get some good skin on it. Butts and brisket come out good ribs you have to watch more. Makes great turkeys, hams chickens you name it.The bling was for the clients 50th birthday party the wife put it on. _________________ If your not smokinit Your Not Cookin

I not only sell them I use them....(www.bigpoppasmokers.com)
Our team just got a 5th in brisket on a p[r60 in Havasu. A very famous BBQ chef used my pr60 to cook pork butts a t a professional golf tournament...He loved it. 40 lbs. of Charcoal and it goes at 225 for over 12 hours.
I use the pr36 and the chicken cooers at home. They are built like trucks...Very old school _________________ Guaranteed lowest delivered prices on the net. |
