There seems to be some confusion regarding the future of AOB given that the Challenge is in the same location and on the same dates as AOB once was. We contacted Ken Busby, Executive Director & CEO of the Art and Humanities Council, and here's his reply:
The dates of the 13th Annual Art of Barbeque are September 24th and 25th at the new ONEOK Field in downtown Tulsa. This is the home for the Tulsa Drillers baseball team, our new partner. We are very excited and have mapped out the space. We will probably be a little smaller with 45 to 50 teams. KCBS is on board—we have a sanctioned event and our KCBS reps, Ralph and Karen Williams, all lined up.
Mid-Life Crisis will be back to perform.
It’s going to be great fun – and a little cooler weather!
Danny Daniels is our Event Chair.
I got to tour the new ballpark last week and they did a great job on it! I'm looking forward to opening night on Thursday and many more fun times to come as it's a first-class facility. As a native Tulsan I'd love to see the life come back into downtown again.
. . . and I can hardly wait to see and hear Mid-Life Crisis again . . . and again . . . and again . . .
Hope that helps. _________________ Stumps GF223 Competition Model

How about Susan Herndon?
She's great, and could put together a rockin' show with some of her friends that would probably not break your budget.
Let me know if you would like for me to contact her. I've known her for 20 years... _________________ Klose 72" Mobile
