a buddy of mine had a corn bagz tourney this past weekend and in the past ive done some form of cooking for the redneck fest, this year it was the traditional itilian dressing marinaded deer loin and did about 70 or so abt's and as suspected there was only a scrap of bacon left after about an hour
loading up the chargriller
getting ready to pull the turds...another hour or so to go on the deer

| We play the game with metal washers where I'm from. So how long did you do the backstraps? I grill mine at 400 and no more than 4 minutes a side for a 1" strap. Doesn't it overcook the strap keeping it on that long? Really courious as I like mt venision on the medium rare side. |

killit, i smoked the backstraps for about 3.5-4 hours at 225-250 its well done when i pull it off but not dry as it gets marinated overnite and then some in itilian dressing and is some of the most tender grub ya can get...thats why i always cook it as far away from the firebox opening as i can _________________ Char Griller ...for now

Ditto on the washers and the backstrap. I also like to butterfly, dredge, and chicken fry them. Killer with taters and gravy. _________________ Brinkman Smoke N Pit Pro

cornhole means something else where I live.
I suggest you don't come to california and ask someone if they want to play cornhole with you (or play with your cornhole) without some diagrams and explanation first. Otherwise you may be in for a shock. |
