I developed my own BBQ monitor application. It was originally for home use but with some minor tweaking I moved it to my web host.
You can see it in action at:
http://curttimmerman.net/logger/bbqmonitor.html
You MUST click the green 'Start Monitor' to see the results. Updates occur automatically every 3 minutes.
This is an 8 lb Port butt in a SmokenTex 1130 smoker. Uses a Stoker monitor.
There is also some monitor documentation (bottom tabs) if you're interested.

Thought some pictures might help:

That is stinkin AWESOME!!! I love the Ethernet over 120v line. I was thinking of going wireless myself but I'm going to do some research because this seems cheaper, and the bandwidth can't be that great. I love the outside thermometer as well!!! Great job!!!

There is more for those with mobile access:

So far I have only see this work on my Blackberry with the Opera miniBroswer. Click the refresh button at the bottom (if you can see it). Good luck.

It looks cool and I would like to have something like that but what equitment is needed? I'm guessing a PC, network, stoker, probes, your software and......How easy is this to setup If I had this stuff?would this work with a gasser?I'm interested in the tracking of what is going on more that running a fan. _________________ Good BBQ is all smoke and beers!

This set up has worked real well. I have the Stoker and PowerLine Ethernet plugged into the same power strip. 15 seconds after plugging it in anywhere in the house, on the deck, or in the detached garage, I'm up and running. Current PowerLine modems provide all the bandwidth you need.

There are some tabs at the bottom of the monitor display. 'About' and 'Help' tabs may answer most of your questions.
This is a long way from being a turnkey (non-hacker) system. My intent in sharing this was to show what could be done as opposed to how it should be done. I was really wanting people interested in this technology to pressure vendors/developers to provide this capability in user-friendly package.
Having said that, I will provide all my work and expertise to anyone interested in taking it to the next level.
