Wow the food looks really yummy! The picnic has a nice bark. Never used mesquite shake from tex-joy, do you use it very much ? Wondering if it's worth a try. _________________ I'm not 50 yrs. old I'm 21 with 29 yrs. experience.

Thank You Jeff T, The corn is a great side we love it.
Thank You Robert, I love cooking with the Apple wood, and no I have not had the opportunity to cook with Cherry yet. Roxie's sauce is the bomb We keep it on hand quite a bit.
Thank You Owen, I used the 18.5'' WSM for this cook. It has not seen a lot of service lately so we wanted to keep her in tune.

k.a.m. I 'm glad you like the cabbage ,it's a simple side ,but I think it needs some mushrooms. _________________ Horizon Offset (Marshall RD Special)

C.B, That could be a real treat right there no doubt. I think shrooms added to the mix would work great. _________________ Always remember slow and steady wins the race.

How long do you leave the corn on the smoker...a couple hours til the bacon is crisp? Will have to try it.

Thank You BigPhil32, The corn was only wrapped in bacon, no rub was applied.
Dan, the corn cooked about 3hr.'s They were frozen when Debbie wrapped them. I had moved the picnic to the lower rack and put the ABT's and corn on the top rack. The corn was in the middle and the ABT's around them. As the ABT's finished first I moved the corn to the outer edge of the rack to crisp up the bacon. _________________ Always remember slow and steady wins the race.
