For those of you that have WAY more talent than I ever will, here is a link for a propane tank that you can convert. Twisted Evil Talk about the ultimate build!!! Wonder what K.A.M. could do with this one?

HOLY SH!T, JD
What size firebox you gonna put on that thing? Let's see, 1/3rd would be a 4000 gallon firebox.
I hope you are picking this up after our Thursday meeting Laughing Laughing
If not, should I stop along the way and load up the cattle trailer Question

Edit: Just for Shts & grins, plugged in a 12,000 gallon cooker into the pit calc and it errored out. Shocked

It'll be all the rage for low budget comps. Little investment. Entry fee gets you a site and a door. Just bring your own firebox.

Now there's an idea for a one style cooker contest, alternate firebox and door you could probably get 15 a side, so that would be 30 teams competing on a cooker with 30 fireboxes, and 3' doors, sounds like a plan, now all I need is $12,000 for the tank, about the same for the trailer, about the same for the vehicle to to it with, and the 30 wood fired stoves = x 4, and then to be able to convince k.a.m. to work on it for me in his spare time? Shocked Laughing Rolling Eyes

k.a.m. and spare time in the same sentence, that's funny Laughing Laughing I'd be interested in how big of an exhaust it'd need.

Slots for 30 teams? $36000 for the build. That's $1200 a team for a spot on the cooker. Hold on let me ask the missus

Can you hear the laughter? Guess its a No for me...

Growing up I had a buddy who's parents ran a Q joint and they had a smoker made out of one of those. I don't remember the fire box set up, but I do remember the pit and it was a sight to see. It wasn't on a trailer though.
