This is what I found and use:
Mix the following together, 'til-nice-and-smooth:
• 2 cups mayonnaise
• 1/3 cup apple cider vinegar (white vinegar, if you must)
• 1/3 cup lemon juice
• 1/4 cup brown sugar
• 2 tblsp ground black pepper (fresh peppercorns, recently ground)
• 2 tblsp salt
• 1/4 -1/2 tsp Cayenne
I personally like it on my pork. I make a Memphis red sauce and this white sauce and put a little of each on my pulled pork. |

I've made a recipe similar to the one above. It is good, but I don't like it on pork. Chicken, yes.
Go easy on that black pepper. 2 tablespoons is a LOT of pepper. So is 2 tablespoons of salt.
I would start out making 1/2 of that recipe. That recipe will make nearly 2 quarts and that is a lot. |
