When I was in, a long time ago during Inclement Weather / Desert Storm ... We got to mail letters OUT of the Combat Zone free. Packages going either way had postage.
Maybe they do things different now, but no postage on packages going either way sounds like a brilliant scheme for the Post Office to lose more money than they already do.
There might also be weight limits on packages. 60lbs would be right in the ballpark. Smaller boxes, like the Priority Mail fit anything you can in it boxes. _________________ Traeger 075 "Big Tex"

The cheapest way to ship is in flat rate boxes. Since it goes through the military you get the in-country rate instead of paying the international rate. This is how I shipped to my son when he was in Iraq. _________________ Bud

Mike,
Yes you will need to make separate purchases. Sorry for the inconvenience. In order to have my website set up for a "shopping cart" style, my monthly cost triples. For now the way I have it set up is working just fine. I am hoping to get busier and grow the business, and at that time I will re-evaluate and decide if I need to make that change. I appreciate the business and thanks for the interest.
Thanks, _________________ Big Ron

| Flat rate is what I was also gonna mention. They have the USPS boxes, what ever you can shove in them it is one price. they advertise, shatever fits, and don't know about weight, it is one price. |

| Just wanted to let you all know that i received the charcoal grill that dmike sent over and also a couple of bags of rub from 'The Lyman Spice Company'. Will be trying the rubs out on my UDS built with the parts off the grill that dmike sent in about three weeks, which will be my first opportunity. Don't worry pics will be on the way at that time! |

Picked up the spice and got everything sent off. I went all out and sent an apron also. Maybe the cooks can pass it around on base? Below are some pics and hope smoke'em and his fellow soldiers enjoy the rubs. This was fun and I decided to create a webpage showing Big Ron's Rubs supports the Troops. Hopefully it will catch on and with donations from friends, family and supporters of the troops I can send some rub to bases all over the world. Thanks again for asking if I would like to be included and, Thanks for everyone's support and donations!!

Big Ron, a Big thank you from all of us Vets. Don't know if you have been in the military at all, but getting a care package is something that is a highlight of your day. With the stuff that has been sent, grill, rubs, apron etc, will definately make these guys day. Again, way to go all of you guys that had helped with this.
