Thanks, so far $35 not including my donations. Keep them coming. I would like to ship a 25 lb box of each rub.

Go back a page, or to the start. The OP Smoke'em is station in Egypt, and having needs some help getting a Smoker pieced together... some of the Ringers are helping him out with some pieces parts and Big Ron is going to ship over some Rub with the funds from the Donations.

My avatar is from a pic of me at an Engagement Party / Surprise Wedding. Likely I am the only Piper with a giant bubble machine and a DEVO hat, the groom insisted that I wear the hat. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=28qNpAxTOOU

I haven't ever smoked a Haggis. If more local people like the stuff, I might bother with preparing one from scratch again... leastways with legal ingredients like beef liver & heart. Sheep liver, heart, lungs & stomach are available... but the butchers wont let me have those cuts. Sooo.. I just order in 5 cans of Canned Haggis and shove it in a huge sausage casing. If I ever do another Haggis, I will wrap it in a Bacon weave. I have cooked, piped in and addressed Haggis. Haggis might be a more practical thing to cook now we have a Food Saver.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QhafEm-jkOs

So far only got enough to send 2 25 lb boxes including my donation. Should we keep asking for donations, I would like to send all three rubs out? If a soldier sends this military mail will it be free shipping? Anyone else want to donate for a good cause??

Howdy Ron! I'm going to order your $25 bundle tomorrow, and add $25 to the soldier fund. I can't order it now because I'm on the road to my next job, won't know the motels address til I get there (thurs.)! I don't know anything about soldier to soldier shipping. I sure hope you get the shipping cheap, if not free. I sent 'smoke'em' one of those cheap Biglots grills (about 16#) and the shipping was $50! We need to do everything we can for our boys (and girls) over there, thank you very much for your contribution.

It is my pleasure to help out and thanks for your business and donation! I hope someone chimes in about the shipping question. Would save a bundle.

Big Ron,
I work at an Army Base and asked around about the free shipping you are talking about. The only one anyone knows about is when in a combat zone, there is free mail going out but not coming in. That was the same way when i was in the Navy during Viet Nam and Desert Storm. If you know something , differnt let me know.

Thanks, I was not sure, but that sums it up. I will have to see what the cheapest way to send 75 lbs of spice will be?? I think I may send 20 lbs of each spice. US International Flat Rate Priority allows a 20 lb limit in each Large flat rate box. I will visit the post office this weekend.

Big Ron, I went to your site to make a purchase and a donation. I couldn't figure out how to do both in the same transaction. Should I be able to? Thanx, Mike
