new from western slope colorado

found out about the forum from a feller on another forum. been lurking for a couple days checking out some of the info. looking forward to learning alot from searching.

had a few laughs about the bickering in some of the sections. told my wife it had to be difficult for the moderators. it seems like there are a few people that have high dosage of testerone to make them fiercely proud and somewhat pretentious, and the same amount of estrogen to make them emotionally sensitive.

i think it's hilarious, but can be frustrating when it clogs up a good post that could help people. i like the similar format that pirate 4x4 has and look forward to deserved tough love.

personally, i started smoking about 2 years ago and have a lot to learn. i have gotten enough compliments on it that i am considering and researching selling the stuff.

my smoker is a homebuilt job i got from a friend for free. it has some design flaws but does the job. one day i would like to design and build my own using principals learned here and adapting my own personal style.

anyway glad to be here, looking forward to getting to know ya!

Which part of Western Colorado?? The part people usually are referring to... or the 1/3 of the State that can be considered Western Slope.
