Seems like a good place to keep track of who gets pooped on enough to leave.. Just think of all the information from people who actually have a restaurant that have left. Stand and be proud!

Are you talking about those PM's that end up on a post in the open forum? Been there tried that!

Pretty valid point in my opinion - all these people left for the same reason jallen did..I don't think I backstabbed anyone? Have you pm'd Jallen and asked him why he quit posting? Others have pointed out that many of us talk on a daily basis here via pm and phone. Many of us know why he quit. He didn't just 'go'.

Or is your post here to point out that my opinion isn't valid?

But according to your wishes they should be banned or curtailed or censured, and when they get the same rights that are allowed to other members, it is somehow favoritism and wrong.

You are sat one side of the valley taking pot shots at your neighbors the Macoys, and complaining when they shoot back at all the other Hatfields.

There was a chance from Geronimo at the beginning of this thread, to stop the feud, and instead BBQMAN's name gets dragged in. The last post on this thread was a year ago tomorrow, 364 days ago, but I can see you are correct that this year old thread is a better place to slap those you don't like, dragging things back up, than taking the advice everyone's mother or grandmother gave and "not say anything, if you have nothing nice to say".

You are right tonyg, it is a terrible thing that one person, comment, or post can cause someone to leave, and we must accept all that you say as being gospel, because all those members that no longer post here were chased away by the big bad BBQMAN, there are none who have left for any other reason, it is all the fault of Geronimo and BBQMAN.

But at the end of the day, it is that person who leaves choice to leave, or to stay and lurk, or to stay and contribute, no matter how much power you give BBQMAN, it is the leavers choice to go.

Did the nasty BBQMAN say some bad words that made JAllen leave, I'm truly sorry if he did, and you can be in contact with one or twenty one people by phone, PM or carrier pigeon on whatever basis you like.

Does it change that to my eyes, and in my opinion posting to a year old thread is a back stab, no it does not!

Perhaps you will go back to giving your opinions on the forum, perhaps you won't and will continue to only give them in PMs, but I don't want to be shot at by either side, of what is the better solution in that argument!

What I will do is lock down this thread. feldon30 pointed back to other posts where I said what I would do if this did not stop, I'll start a poll in another thread in a moment or two. Let us all actually see where the vocal majority stand.
