I realize this thread is years old, but I'm looking at purchasing a Lone Star Custom Pit trailer and am trying to find more info. I realize they closed down in 2010. Does any one know if they stamped a number on their pits? I'm going to try to get it registered in Texas. |

Interested in buying and want to get it registered in Texas so that it is street legal. Last time I did this, the state wanted a VIN number with another trailer. If the manufacturer didn't do one, I think DPS will add one.
Info is just hard to find. Google searches come back with little to no url's, images, etc. All I can find is that the company was owned by Tom Camden (who used to post here) and he passed away shortly after they closed up shop. They have an old, incomplete facebook. |

I talked to my friend and he said if the cooker has a serial # it will be just behind the coupler on the frame on top as that is where his is. If not my suggestion is pull the heaviest weight you can without inspection and call it a day title it as shop built. _________________ Always remember slow and steady wins the race.
