I took a unique approach to this ...atleast as far as I can tell, I haven't seen anyone do anything quite like this yet. I started out with two propane tanks not sure of the exact dimensions (i am winging it ..redneck style and proud of it) The smoke chamber is 30" diameter by approx 48" in length (actually height the way i set it up) The fire box is a 100lb propane tank cut down to 24" x approx 15" ? here are the first few pics I painted her today and should have those pics up later this week.

| The first picture shows the top of the fire box being cut off, it was turned up like a bowl inside the smoke chamber for the diffuser/waterpan and is adjustable up and down on a threaded rod for a dampening system. I can turn it all the way down and virtually cut all the smoke off from the chamber or open it all the way to increase the temp. We will be adding a gas grille to the left side of the trailer and a work station and sink on the right, the final project will be roofed over with the smoke stacks extended above the tin roof. Because of its unique appearance it has been named the "RIB-BOT". Wednesday will be the initial test, any suggestions on what to smoke for the break in? |

| Thanks day-trippper, I have alot of work left,I am still searching around for some expanded metal to finish my racks there are three of them 29" in diameter, some minor details like retweaking the door, painting the trailer, etc. The final product was delicious and juicy!!! smoked the chickens 4 hours between 200 and 275, and removed them at a breast temp of 160.. had a little bit of an issue getting the fire just right this thing will get hot with very little wood...fuel saver....I guess... this smoker meets the "Go Green" requirments...LOL |
