Not sure if any of you know, but I am a self employed fix it man. I can do pretty much anything. Yesterday I started my day doing some jobs, and then preparing for some friends to come watch the Bruins game.

First thing I do every morning is check for any new job via e-mail

Feed the bird

Use the crapper

Shave

Take a shower

and brush my teeth

Then out to the garage to gather my tools

I had a carpentry job, so I better grab the portable table saw

and my brand new cordless screw gun

Headed out to the van to start my day

Cranked on some tunes

Some fan of mine took a picture of me driving!

My first job was installing a central heating system...

They also had a sagging cabinet

Next was some drywall work in a friend's basement, glad I brought my stilts

Nice patch on a hole in the ceiling

Now it was getting towards lunch time, so I pulled over and grabbed a hot meal

Off to fix that broken post

and install a new stove handle

Last job of the day was at the local graveyard, some punks toppled over a monument...all fixed now!

I had to get to the train station to pick up my friends

Back at home, I fired up the BBQ

Mowed the lawn

and raked the leaves

Got the beers chilling

and the wine

Started mixing some drinks

and cracking some brews

started making some snacks

always need pepper!

I made my famous tuna tartar

My friends love to play pool, so glad I found the missing 7 ball

It was getting chilly in the rec room, so I started a fire

and warmed up the TV

Can't watch a game without surround sound!

It was starting to get dark, and I knew we'd spend some time outside, so I fixed the patio light

My wife went out to grab some hot dogs, so I had to watch the baby

I think she needs more light

The reception on the TV wasn't so hot, time to go adjust the dish

We had a great time, and drank well into the night, but now it's time for bed.

Glad I just got that new mattress and box spring

Sleepy time, then back at it tomorrow......

Whats scary is that a lot of those are most likely real ways of doing things in certain necks of the woods.

I did that myself a few times then I managed to break the pepper mill with the drill.

Great post reptile, the table saw is classic. I actually did that until I could buy a real table saw. works pretty good.

Funny thing about the hot meal; My dad use to get Q from Luling, have it double wrapped, then put it under the hood and drive it back to Austin. Kept it plenty hot.
