|
|
| My Nephew just graduated collage with a business degree and told us last week that he had signed up for a 6yr hitch in the Navy. Well he has two of his old high school buddies that have been in the Seals for 2 yrs so that’s what he will be going into as well if he gets through basic training. Were all very proud of him and I want to give him a good sendoff. He doesn’t have his ship out date yet but most likely will be early spring. I want to do a party so he a can invite all his friends a family. I had cooking whole Prime ribs in mind and need a little help with time, temp and seasoning. I will do a test run before the party but I would be looking to serve around 30 people, so how many people will whole primes ribs serve per/lb. Any help and info will be appreciated. |

Check SoEzzy's catering planner and it will give you a good idea as to requirements.

It's available in xls or zip form.
Servings per pound depends on how thick you slice them, how hungry they are, etc. Little ole ladies won't eat as much as a football team.
Tell him congratulations and Thank You.
Thank you too ssoutlaw for your son's service. _________________ Gunny 3073/4044/8411

Not but 3 or 4 old ladies but I know 10-12 twenty something guy's that like too eat big, and I don't want any going away hungry, the rest will be a mix bag 30-40 & 50's I want to figure on the heavy eater side. I would rather have leftover than not enough, this ain't no meal to be cutting corners on.
I'll be doing Prime Rib and baked potato and bread, his mom and my brother will be doing desert's and drinks. |
