I bought a welding blanket Saturday and was quickly impressed. I smoked a brisket last Monday, temps in the 30"s with light winds. Yesterday I did another brisket, same temp but with a 25mph north wind and used 15 pounds less coal. I can't help but think the blanket helped.

IF you have TWO blankets... thats one warm blankie for the cook, and the other one warming up.. and also for the cook. Wink
