Roxy..I'm guessin' you're not talkin' about Johnny Cash's song when ya mention burnin' ring of fire!! You still have to go to the country to do the smokin? Let me know what ya think of the maple. Haven't tried that yet. Abuddy of mine just sent me some pecan, cherry, and white oak...that cherry is so pretty, I hate ta burn it!Between that and the pecan I can't wait!! I've had oak, but this looks like a different variety, so I'll hold off on it. Glad the smoker's treatin' ya well. Can't ya use a water smoker, or maybe electric for a bit, put in cooler wrapped, take out to the country and finish off a butt with some good wood? Good Smokin' Buddy!! Mike |

I think Johhny ate some Indian before he wrote that song...
Cant have any sort of grill or smoker on the balcony. Its only 30 minutes or so to get to the smoker and there is air conditioning and my Ma keeps a well stocked bar. So I would say win, win no matter how ya look at it. _________________ Chargriller Akorn

Aint much of a party as Ma is 80 and now gets all slap happy with one or two gin and tonics. It aint pretty watching a 80 year old do the Macaraina if ya know what I mean...
I do enjoy sitting on the deck and tring to see the forest. But the damned trees keep getting in the way. _________________ Chargriller Akorn

Ok, I tried it over the weekend. I really like it but I suspect some won't like the amount of mustard or the amount of relish. I like both just fine. _________________ The Wild Pig build.
